Let's face is, without amazing partners...a role play stands no chance.
. Commitment is the key. It doesn't matter how many role players you have, everyone plays an important part. I beg you, if you join this role play, stick it out through the end...or at least tell us if you will no longer participate.
.That leads me to my second thing...yes I like romance, but not as the entire reason for the role play. Do not make it the focus of your character....it gets old very fast. Now yes, I agree this role play does have romance in the plot...but I promise you there is much more to it then that.
. This will make or break you for me. I will expect at least three paragraphs or more from you. I'm sorry, I understand sometimes it's hard to come up with things to put into a post...and I will be willing to negotiate length every now and again, but if you continue to only give a paragraph at most....not much of a reply can be written.
. I've never been much of a follower....but than again I'm not much of a leader, so do not treat me as either. What I'm saying is this is a group role play , therefor everyone should put ideas into moving forward. I am not one to shoot a person down for trying. Any idea can be made into something with a little faith, trust, and pixi....oh, wrong story? Sorry!
. Speaking of moving forward, I hate when role plays stay stuck in on the same day (or same week) for too long.
. I'm not expecting a fast moving role play. I am working two jobs, one being a hospital, so I know getting more than one post a day may be hard. I expect patients when it comes to my responses, as I am sure I am expected to give. Life comes first.
. Blood, foul language, violence, and death do not bother me at all. If you want a role play that's not all rainbows and sunshine I'm right there with you! Life has it's problems. Why is this any different, but at the same time do not over do it.
.I have the basics for each character written out below. Please read over them carefully :D I'm all for these characters being your own...but try to stick to their outline as much as you can, please.
An unfortunate truth is that the things we want most can come at the wrong time. If we're lucky, we find them again a second time. If not, we live with the past and hope for a brighter future.
Girl one: Her parents split when she was twelve. She stayed with her mother in their home town, while her twin brother was moved across the country with their father. Her mother soon married another man, and they lived a happy life. Her father never spoke to her again, but she and her mother called her brother once a week for the next five years. They never saw one another, but she still loved him very much.
At seventeen her mother and stepfather died in a painful car accident....her brother didn't show for the funeral. Now she must live with two people she hasn't seen in over five years. It was no shock when her father didn't speak to her...but why is her brother ignoring her? And why are his friends so against her?
Girl two: Her father died when she was young, and her mother was abusive. She was finally sent to live with her cousin, boy three, when she turned eleven. It was a year later she met boy one.
The two of them have been together for over a year now, both of them being seventeen. She is very attached to him, as well as her friends. When his sister moved to town, she hated the girl. Why? She caused her boyfriend pain for the last five years... yeah she's a bitch...but so what?
Girl three: She and boy two hook up, but aren't technically together. girl two and boy three are her best friends. She is very protective of her friends, and doesn't want to lose any of them.
When girl oneshows up, she is the only one to speak to her....but it's just to make sure she doesn't replace her in the group. she means well, and thinks she is looking out for her friends, but may be pushing the problem she set out to avoid.
She has both her parents, but they are never home.
Boy one:Twin of girl one. When he moved with his father, he was heart broken. He tried to call his mother and sister everyday...but they never answered. After the first year, he gave up.
His friends became his family. Together they ruled the school, and controlled everything it seemed....but then his sister moved in. Despite her not speaking to him in over five years, he loved her, and warned everyone he was off limits. He knew how badly everyone treated her...but it was for her own good.
Boy two: Probably the calmest of the group. He isn't one to start bullshit, but if his friends are involved...so is he.
He doesn't do relationships, they are a wast of time. The only people he needs in his life are his friends.
Boy three: The leader of the group, and the oldest (18). He failed his junior year, and now has to repeat it.
He is a play boy, a hustler, and doesn't give a fuck about anyone. When he meets girl one he wants her. Not because he likes her, no, because she's off limits....for now.
So what's this about?
Two siblings struggle to reconnect and discover the lies they have been fed over the years by their father to keep them apart, while friends fight to keep the group they have come to call family together.
Mistakes are made, hearts are broken, and feuds are started. When you love someone you shouldn't love, hate the wrong person, and believe lies....what good can come out of it?
